1. Who we are

This website is operated by Zad Family Trading Company (Commercial Registration No. 5901010888), based in Abu Arish, Jazan Region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are a food distributor and a certified distributor for Al Watania Poultry.

This policy explains how we handle personal data in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

2. What we collect

We keep this to the minimum needed. The site has no user accounts and no online checkout.

• Commercial customer requests. If you use the "Become a commercial customer" form, you enter your business name, contact person, phone number, sector, preferred branch and any notes. The form prepares a WhatsApp message on your own device, and you choose whether to send it. We do not store these details on the website. Once you send the message, we receive it through WhatsApp.
• Job applications. If you send a CV by email or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to include in it.
• Product searches. Search terms you type are processed to show results and are not linked to you.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and secure the site.

3. Cookies

The site sets a single functional cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers whether you chose Arabic or English. It is needed for the language switch to work.

We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

4. How we use your information

• To reply to enquiries and set up commercial accounts.
• To consider job applications.
• To keep the website secure and working properly.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use trusted service providers to run the website and communicate with you: web hosting (Vercel), our content database (Supabase), and messaging and email services such as WhatsApp. They process data only to provide those services. We may also disclose data where the law or a competent authority requires it.

6. Third-party links

The site links to services such as WhatsApp and Google Maps (for branch directions). Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

7. How long we keep it

We keep messages and applications only as long as needed for the purpose they were sent for, or as the law requires, and then delete them.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPL you may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw consent you gave us. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the period set by law.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to our administration area is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
